What is L.casei Shirota?
Vitamin C supports the function of the immune system and helps lower fatigue**. Since we can’t store vitamin c in the body, we need to get it from our daily diet. Yakult Plus is rich in vitamin C so it’s super easy to get your daily boost. That’s a sure plus for us! Vitamin C is also needed for the growth of cells and tissues***.
Yakult Plus contains fibre which feed the gut bacteria. Fibre is an essential part of a varied and balanced diet.

Yakult Original doesn't contain any sweeteners. Yakult Balance and Yakult Plus contains maltitol syrup and steviol glycosides, extracted from the leaves of the stevia plant. The flavours used in Yakult Original, Yakult Balance and Yakult Plus are citrus and vanilla. Yakult Balance and Yakult Plus also contains a yoghurt flavouring.
