Science Director
- Dr Linda Thomas PhD
As our Science Director, Linda has more experience than you can shake a Yakult bottle at. A microbiologist for over 30 years, she's written a whole host of publications on subjects like probiotics, lactic acid bacteria and food microbiology. Quite frankly, what she doesn't know about good and bad bacteria isn't worth knowing.

Heather has a history in nutrition, and that’s just for starters. She also has a PhD in gut hormones and energy balance. Hardly surprising then that she’s the font of all knowledge when it comes to dishing out the best possible advice to Yakult drinkers. And to the Yakult team too, of course.

The Science Team
Deirdre Jordan, Kaman Lee and Leanne Hewitt are a talented trio indeed. As qualified experts in nutrition, they spend a good deal of their time at Yakult events, conferences, making sure healthcare professionals all over the country are fully clued up on all the latest probiotic research and scientific literature. Chances are, you might even catch them at an event near you.
