Nutritional information
Here’s a bit more detail about what is (and what definitely isn’t) in a bottle of Yakult.
- Yakult contains no colourings whatsoever. The unique colour is natural caramelisation resulting from our production process.
- There are just 48 calories in a bottle of Yakult Original. A bottle of Yakult Light contains just 27 calories.
- The reason we include sugar is that it provides essential ‘food’ for the bacteria, keeping them alive during shelf life.
- Both Yakult Original and Yakult Light are virtually fat-free.
- Both are equivalent to 0.5 Weight Watchers points.
